It's not a hard work and everybody can do it. You don't need to belong to the orga-team neither to the local-team. If you have any question just ask another member from frontdesk (some of our IRC nicks are: pablog, guillem, mones, anto, zumbi)

[edit] Checking in
- room keys...
- Go to https://penta.debconf.org/penta/entrance and log in (you have to be added to a special group in penta, ask Ganneff for it).
- Be sure you have checked 'dc9' in the left-side listbox and click on 'Index'.
- Find the person who has arrived and click on it.
- Check "Person arrived at venue" and save changes.
- Help him/her to find his own credential.
[edit] Selling
There is a box with some cash in the frontdesk to change money.
[edit] Tickets for food
- Sell it to anyone that asks for it.
- IMPORTANT: There's a spreadsheet in the frontdesk computer to know who has already paid or not. So please don't forget to update it.

Food tickets for non-sponsored people are 15€ per day. You'll get two tickets for this price (one for lunch and another one for dinner). For one week (7 days) costs 100€ (special discount price).

- Sell it to anyone that asks for it.
- IMPORTANT: There's a piece of paper in the frontdesk table to know how many bottles have been sold. So please don't forget to update it.

- One bottle is 5€
- A 6-pack of bottles is 25€
- A carton for 3 bottles is 1€
[edit] debian.ch T-Shirts and Stickers
There are 3 types of t-shirts from debian.ch on sale. Examples of the different designs are on the table beside the entrance.
There are also 3 types of stickers in 3 different sizes. The sticker designs are visible on the sign on the T-shirt table.
If you sell an item, the money goes into the the general Debconf "moneybox" and you have to note the sold items in the spreadsheet on the front desk computer.

- medium sticker: 3.5€
- big sticker: 7€

The frontdesk computer should be connected to IRC 24/7 in channels like #debconf, #debconf-team. (irc nickname: Debconf-frontdesk)
- People may ask you for every kind of things. Just try to answer them.
