Tap water is drinkable.
There are filtered water dispensers in the quiet hacklab, the orga room and the kitchen

Power adaptors can be bought from the front desk. They're available between R15 and R50 (around €1 to €3).

[edit] Cash Machines/ATM
There are three cash machines (Neddank, FNB and Standard Bank) in the Leslie Social Sciences building, towards the south end of the campus on University Avenue South.
There are three cash machines (Nedbank, ABSA and AutoBank) stairs up from the main hall in the Molly Blackburn Memorial Hall, next to Jameson Hall/Jameson Plaza.

In addition to Front-Desk, Power adaptors might be available from an electronics store in the PD Hahn building.

The pub is in Sports Center building.
[edit] Coffee Shops
There is coffee place called Quencha in the Leslie Social Sciences building, towards the south end of the campus on University Avenue South.
There is another coffe place in the Molly Blackburn Memorial Hall, next to Jameson Hall/Jameson Plaza

Some vending machines are in the Leslie Social Sciences building, towards the south end of the campus on University Avenue South.
Other vending machines are likely all over campus.

There are supermarkets around 15 minutes by foot on Main Road, via the pedestrian tunnel to UCT middle campus.

[edit] Laundry
A drop-off laundry service is currently operating out of Fuller reception during weekdays. Service forms and bags can be picked up at any time from the reception counter. Return those before 8am, and they will be delivered back on the same day. Laundry is payable at Front Desk (natalie currently), and pricing is R50 for a 5kg bag of dirty clothes and then R10 for any additional kg.

The schedule for meals for DebConf is:
- Breakfast: 8:00 - 9:30 in Fuller Dining Hall
- Lunch: 12:00 - 14:00 in Fuller Dining Hall
- Dinner: 18:00 - 20:00 in Fuller Dining Hall
