Veyepar - Video Eyeball Processor and Review

This page will continue to grow as we come up with content.

At DebConf14, we will be using Veyepar for our reviewing workflow, as a replacement for Pentabarf.

If you want to get a head start on DC14 video processing: http://veyepar.nextdayvideo.com/main/start/

There you can get up to speed on the workflow by helping finish up Fosdem. There are about 50 left (70 if you include the ones I have given up on.) This will let you process a video without a login (yes, I am trusting that no one abuses it for fun and profit.) Yes, the production quality is all over the map. 22 rooms, a core team of 5 that trained 10 or so and provided printed instructions to whoever would show up. The audio company ran out of cables, so some recordings have camera mic audio. bleck. All things considered, it worked out pretty good.

Videoteam/Review - more docs describing that part of the process.

Feel free to click around, here are some interesting URLs:

All 514 Fosdem talks: http://veyepar.nextdayvideo.com/main/C/fosdem/S/fosdem_2014/

Talks waiting to be processed that seem to have raw dv files: http://veyepar.nextdayvideo.com/main/C/fosdem/S/fosdem_2014/s/1/?cuts=1

Veyepar code can be found at https://github.com/CarlFK/veyepar

The web interface is only 1/2 of it. the real work takes place in the command line scripts. The README is fairly up to date.
