As a Berlin resident i have a vital interest in "debconf11 in Berlin" Even though i have no function in Debian itself our distribution 'sidux™' is based on it. sidux e.V. is willing to lend a hand when things become more distinct. At the moment i sift through possible venues/hotels for the best combination.

I have been working in open source projects for 7 years and have for 4 years organized the appearance of sidux at 3 - 4 annual linux conventions

I have never been to debconf but will attend and help out 2010 in N.Y.
