This is a list on the priorities for picking a DebConf venue. Historically, this list is used during the decision meetings to guide the selection.

  1. "affordable" for both sponsors and attendees
  2. strong, mature, experienced local team
  3. good working spaces
  4. excellent network connectivity
  5. quality and quantity of food and drink in close proximity
  6. suitable accommodation in close proximity
  7. presentation facilities
  8. travel logistics
  9. accessibility

They are ordered by priorities, 1. being the most important one.
