dgit is a tool to allow you to work on packages in the Debian archive as if the Debian archive were a git repository. You dgit clone, edit the package using git, and dgit push. dgit push does an upload. The git history is shared with other dgit users, and can include upstream's git history. Uploads made by non-dgit users show up as commits synthesised by dgit.
This will be a bof session, including an overview of the current status and future plans, Q&A, and also give the opportunity for potential users to explain their workflow and help set requirements for new features.
