[edit] DebConf5 Ad Hoc BoFs

All Ad Hoc !BoFs will take place in the smaller glass room in smökki. To schedule a !BoF in one of these slots, e-mail don@debian.org so that they can be coordinated. I will then enter They are first come first served. DO NOT JUST ENTER YOUR INFORMATION IN A RANDOM SLOT

The schedule bot in #debconf will be updated for the !BoFs as they are added, but the organizers of the !BoF are responsible for any additional advertising that they feel is needed.

If more slots are needed for a specific day (or if you'd like to use a different time) that can be arranged also.

[edit] BoF Information

Once you've got a slot, feel free to enter some information here about what the !BoF is going to cover so people can figure out if they want to attend.

[edit] Debian Board Game

A board game about the life of a debian developer. What happens when you get a girlsfriend, or if you get an extra broadband connection. And how many packages can you package in a round of the game?

[edit] Improving workflow management

I want to sit together with people to discuss optimisation in the organisation and workflow in Debian. I share the concerns raised in this thread and I would like to invite those who have already invested time and effort in the challenge of improving workflow (and organisation and communication) in Debian to be able to face the future to sit together and braindump.

[edit] Open Q & A session: Debian Project goals for 2005-2006

Meet The DPL, and members of the ftpmaster and release teams and ask them any question you like about Debian Project goals for 2005-2006. This is meant to be a constructive way for DDs to learn and give input, not a whinefest.

[edit] Open Debian Installer meeting

This will be an informal meeting with people involved in d-i to discuss future development. Others who are interested in the installer or are considering to help with the development or translation of the installer are very welcome to attend. The meeting will also be announced during the d-i talk Friday afternoon.

[edit] Input methods BOF

We're getting in the same room everyone interested in keyboard input methods, to discuss debian infrastructure for them.

It's a great opportunity as we can have people from Japan, China, (I can try to represent Taiwan) and India (at least), and some of them are actually very active on this field.
