[edit] Local team

Local team leader: Sebastian Tennant

Thanks to Moray for creating this page.  I'm actually British but Moray has provisionally nominated me local team leader because I'm living in Istanbul at the moment, and all I can say at this stage is that when I return to Istanbul in September I will endeavour to persuade as many Turkish Debian users/developers as I can find to form a local team and submit a bid for 2013.

[edit] Conference facilities etc.

To be confirmed.

There are several universities in central Istanbul, where we could hope to arrange conference facilities, and perhaps hosting for attendees.

Central Istanbul has a very large number of hotels of all price brackets.
