Problems with the Debconf 10 website

We need to fix these!

1 make the image in the upper left of https://penta.debconf.org/dc10_schedule/index.en.html clickable, so people can navigate back to the main debconf page. i've had 4 people complain to me now because someone posted that schedule to a blog and people dont know how to get from there to somewhere to register Fixed --Schultmc 20:46, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

2. on https://penta.debconf.org/dc10_schedule/index.en.html there is a logo image (https://media.debconf.org/dc10/images/DebConf10logo.png) is on a separate domain. Until I tried to load it directly, it was simply not appearing. Once I tried to load the image itself in my browser, I was asked to approve the security excepting (self signed cert, I believe) and the image started appearing. 3. The link to http://debconf10.debconf.org is anchored to an image: src="/dc10_schedule/images/conference-128x128.png", but that doesn't exist: https://penta.debconf.org/dc10_schedule/images/conference-128x128.png

Or rather, it does, but it is a 1x1 clear pixel, which means I can't possibly find my way to the main conference page.

To fix, just copy https://media.debconf.org/dc10/images/DebConf10logo.png to https://penta.debconf.org/dc10_schedule/images/conference-128x128.png Fixed --Schultmc 20:46, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

4. change the schedule export script so that: a. if there is no event scheduled for the day, then do not mention the day in the left hand sidebar, and do not provide a link in the left-hand sidebar. this is a big confusion: people go to the schedule and the debCAMP schedules are at the top (and they are empty) and they dont understand the difference. people locally asked me if the conference was even happening because of this.

This isn't easy to fix afaik. The script just dumps the schedule for everything public in the conference. Since DebCamp and the daytrip are listed as days the conference operates, they'll show up in the schedule regardless of whether there are talks scheduled on those days. --Schultmc 21:06, 21 July 2010 (UTC) -- fixed by ganneff
