[edit] 1. DebConf18 welcome, quick status update and dates

DebConf18 team welcomed, Curitiba bid team thanked.

We discussed accomodation, dates and support organisation for DebConf18 in Taiwan.

We had a short discussion about invited speakers.

[edit] 3. Accomodation

The venue manager agreed to let us pay for excatly the number of classrooms we used, as long as we confirm which before June 5th.

We agreed to go back to our initial plan of 12 classrooms for DebCamp and 18 for DebConf, to ensure we will not run out of room.

Efforts to finalize the registration process have fallen behind, so it was agreed to organize a sprint this week to speed things up.

We still have not obtained a final version

[edit] 6. Venue

There was a meeting with the venue manager. Notes have been typed and are available in ownCloud.

We agreed to add a link and/or form to subscribe to dc-announce on the website.

We also agreed to auto-subscribe registrants to the list, while adding an opt-out checkbox on the form.

[edit] 8. Fundraising

We discussed the fundraising status, which was not stellar. We are still about 55k CAD short of our target.

We agreed we need to find people to help us in this front.

A new ICS calendar was created to help keep track of meetings and deadlines related to contracts.
