[edit] FAQs

If you require food sponsorship on the day trip, you will either need to pay out-of-pocket, get a receipt, and submit it for reimbursement, or have Michael Schultheiss (schultmc) fund your purchase.

Baseball tickets nominally cost $10. You may donate to DebConf the amount you can afford (either less than $10 if you would like sponsorship or more than $10 if you would like to subsidize others).

[edit] Groups

Liberty Bicycles (846 Ninth Avenue, between 55th and 56th Streets) rents bike for 40$ for 24-hours period and opens at 9:30 AM. Please contact me (Arthur Loiret, aloiret@debian.org) if you want to go there tomorrow morning too.

209.2.226.72 20:37, 3 August 2010 (UTC) I (Kai Hendry) want to rent a bike at 10am and return it by 7pm, and not attend the baseball game. Can you guys please wait for me?

Since we leave at 10am and probably only back after 7pm, I guess we will be effectively renting two days. Can we somehow schedule to pick up and drop off the bike on the same day? 10am pick up, 7pm return?

I was just chatting with http://www.modsquadcycles.com/ and they charge 60USD for a 24hr period (if four of us rent, he agreed to go down to 50USD a day, so 100USD plus tax). Yes, on their Bike rental page it confusingly says 40USD. But there is an "overnight" charge, as they do want their bikes back on the same day.

Metro Bicycles has a West Side Bicycles shop on 96th St. at Broadway. They have an "overnight" rate of $55 USD (that is, $55+tax covers the total cost if you pick it up anytime on day N, by 10:30am on day N+1). They open at 9:30am. +1.212.663.7531
