This page is for collecting current, active to-do items. It focuses only on venue/housing/food/transportation issues, other things go into team lists.

[edit] Related to Venue Change

[edit] Hours

  • The invoice shows that the new venue will only be booked for DebConf and not DebCamp. What is the plan for DebCamp?
  • Will the venue be open 24/7 ? What times exactly?
  • Which rooms will we have?
MT 24/7 basically (we will life there), CCMI until late at nite (midnight or such), though we will have to pay security.

[edit] Transportation

  • How will the buses work?
  • How many buses/how large/frequently will they run?
  • How long will it take to get 300-400 attendees to or from the venue?
There is a public bus going every 40min from Caceres to CCMI. We could also rent another bus, going all day for us. A trip MT to CCMI and back is probably 30min. A taxi with 4 persons is probably 4-6e, so 1-1.5e per person an trip. Riding a bike to CCMI will be "fun" between 11oo and 18oo-19oo, not!

[edit] Hacklabs

  • Where will the day hacklab be?
  • Where will the night hacklab be?
  • ideally, it should be the same...!
The hacklabs will be at MT and can be open 24/7.

[edit] Food

  • Where will it be served at lunchtime and in the evening?
  • How much will this cost?
The times and places still need to be decided, the price is 15 EUR _if I remember correctly_. Anto knows the current quote we got.

[edit] 1) Accommodation

  • We don't have enough accommodation yet. (citation needed - IOW: how much is missing). Where will other attendees be accommodated? What are the costs? Will buses be convenient from these places?
How much is missing. We need numbers to rent more places.

[edit] 2) Visa letters

  • will be send this week. send mail to visa@debconf.org if you need a visa.
Several visa laters have been send, new requests are still handled.
