Special funding for DebConf11 is available for Debian Developers and Debian Maintainers who have either never attended a DebConf before, or who have not been to a DebConf since DebConf7 (in Scotland).
DebConf11 will be held in Banja Luka from July 24-30, 2011. http://debconf11.debconf.org
To apply for this funding, email the DebConfNewbies Team <newbies@debconf.org>. The deadline to apply is Jun 18th. Please apply as early as possible. In your email, include an estimate of your travel costs, where you are traveling from, and the amount you are unable to fund yourself. We also need to know what dates you plan to arrive and leave at. Please indicate if you will also need sponsored food and accommodation, and whether you have already registered for DebConf (at http://debconf11.debconf.org/register.xhtml) (If not - do so now). Also, tell us if you've been to DebConf before.
Also, if you work with someone in a team, wish they could go to DebConf, and would like to nominate your team mate for funding, send an email with the details of who and why.
